Georgia JohnsonGeorgia Hunter Johnson, age 81, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, Russellville Health Care.

Georgia was a very nurturing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be greatly missed. She was married to Bob Johnson for over sixty years. During this time, they were members of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Some of the best memories for her family occurred in the Church. It was through church that she met her lifelong friend (sister), Virginia Mitchell McCalmon. Her and Bob loved their family and their church family, but most of all they loved Jesus! We are so comforted to know they are with Him today. John 14:6

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Johnson; parents, Hansford Carl and Hallie Hunter, Lance and Ora Johnson; great grandchild, Tristan Thorne. And siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Ben Johnson(Amy); daughters, Vickie Pounders(Jimmy), and Amy Rickard (Jeff); grandchildren, Katie Barnett(Colby), Shelby Johnson, Georgeanne Shook ( Ben), Carly Whitehead, Dannon Whitehead, Alex Bush, Tori Bendall(Colby), Wes Pounders(Heather), Daniel Thorne(Amy), Trenton Thorne(Paige) and Justin Thorne(Karli); great-grandchildren, Benjamin Barnett, Ivey Kate Barnett, Emma Grace Bendall, Madelyn Bendall, Jaxon Pounders, Sawyer Pounders, Clayton Thorne, Ethan Thorne, Abbey Thorne, Hope Thorne, Manning Thorne, Peyton Thorne, Isla Reese Thorne, Lane Thorne, Walker Thorne, Willa Kate Thorne and Mac Carter Thorne; sister Mae Russell of Franklin, NC
