Catherine Louise (Barnett) White, age 86, of Rogersville, died Monday at ECM Hospital.
Mrs. White was born Nov. 28, 1926, in Lauderdale County. She was a member of the Rogersville Church of Christ, a homemaker and a talented artist and master gardener.
Services for Mrs. White will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, Athens, with Alex Bayes officiating. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from noon until service.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dezzie Barnett; husband, Gerald O. White; son, Jerry White; brothers, Robert Barnett Jr., Almon Barnett, Larry Barnett and Victor Barnett.
Survivors include daughter, Vicki White and partner, Juan Castillo, of Chicago, Ill; son, Ronnie Coleman and wife, Lori Ann, of Glencoe, Ala.;
granddaughter, Jenny Anderson, of Salt Lake City, Utah;
grandsons, Jason R. Coleman and wife, Amanda, of Gadsden, Ala., Brad Whitaker, of Pacific City, Ore.;
great-granddaughters, Evelyn Cate Coleman, of Gadsden, Ala., McKenzie Whitaker, of Pacific City, Ore.;
daughter-in-law, Penny White, of Salt Lake City, Utah; and brother-in-law, James White, of Athens, Ala.; and sister-in- law, Alta Barnet, of Rogersville, Ala.; and special friend, Benda Clemons, of Elgin Crossroads; many nieces; and nephews.
