Sherry Lynn George, 76, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Mississippi to Luther and Madilyn Hunt Barrett. She was a supervisor at Golden Manufacturing where she worked for more than 20 years.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 11, 2022, 2 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, AL.
She is survived by two grandsons- Matthew Cole (Renee) and Brandon Cole (Bayleigh), seven great grandchildren- Bentley, Vaeda, Brenleigh, Madilyn, Chloe, Maddie and Sawyer.
She was preceded in death by her Husband- Joe George, daughter- Susan Cole, parents and a sister Patricia James.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Cole, Matthew Cole, Greg Miller, Adam Ozbirn, Cody Wilkinson and Junior George.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 11 am until 2 pm at Deaton Funeral Home Red Bay, AL.
