Donna Lea Voss, 67, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Hollis Rutherford and Chris Godbee officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Gardens in Moulton, AL.
Born on June 15, 1955 to L.B. and Hilda Jones Voss, Donna was the longtime piano player for Smyrna Baptist Church. She loved to watch Braves baseball and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Teri Voss; grandchildren, Micheal Mitchell, Jaycie Mitchell, Tristan Voss; great-grandchild, Gianni Mitchell; brothers, Danny (Rhona) Voss, Joe (Tammy) Voss; nephew, Brad (Candi) Voss; and nieces, Crystal (Nick) Spigle and Breann Voss.
Donna is preceded in death by her father, L.B. Voss; mother, Hilda Voss.
Pallbearers will be Micheal Mitchell, Tristan Voss, Joe Harris, Daniel Terry, Kaleb Godbee, Ben Godbee.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital along with the nurses and staff at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.
