Alma Lane, 90 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, November 27th, 2022, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Lane was born on January 1st, 1932, in Limestone County, to Fred M. Robertson, Sr. and Irene Clinard Robertson.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her sisters Betty Turner, Mary Bassham, and Ann Russell; daughter-in-law Kathy Kieff; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Howard Kieff and Joe Lane; children Harold Kieff, Alma Jane Kieff, and D.W. Kieff; brothers Villard Robertson, J.C. Robertson, Fred Robertson, Jr., Eardie Robertson, Douglas Robertson, and Franklin Robertson; and sisters Virginia Robertson, June R. Whitfield, Helen R. Brown, and Joan R. Kelley.
In honor of Alma’s wishes, there will be a graveside service on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, at 1:00pm at New Salem Cemetery, with Randy Robertson officiating.
