Freddie Ray CampbellFreddie Ray Campbell, 72, of Flat Rock, Alabama, formerly of Whitesburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born March 27, 1950 to the late Cecil and Carolyn Collins Campbell. Mr. Campbell proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He faithfully served the Lord for many years at Jeremiah Missions in Jeremiah, Kentucky, First Baptist Church of Elmer, New Jersey, and First Baptist Church of Whitesburg, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Lucy Campbell, sons Chris Campbell (Christy), David Campbell, Charles Campbell, daughter Carolyn Carter (Henry), 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Thomas Campbell (Lisa), and sister Phyllis DeSloover (Larry), and many nieces, nephews, and caring friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joanne Campbell.

There are no services planned at this time.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
