Cheryl Ann Vaughn Knight of Pocahontas, TNCheryl Ann Vaughn Knight was born April 21, 1944 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha Lou Russell Vaughn.

She was united in marriage to Sidney Junior Knight. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on January 28, 2008.

Ann graduated from Selmer High School, where she played basketball for the Lady Bobcats. She was a loving and devoted homemaker for her late husband and family. Vegetable and flower gardening, fishing, being outdoors, painting landscapes, working jigsaw puzzles, and arranging flowers were among her favorite activities. Ann was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Pocahontas, where she served as the church custodian.

Ann departed this life on November 25, 2022 in Pocahontas, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 7 Months, 4 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Huggins of Pocahontas, TN; four grandchildren: Cassy Durbin and husband Chris of Eastview, TN, Josh Irvin and wife Katie of Eastview, TN, Kimberly Knievel of Bolivar, TN, and Ashley Hopper and husband Johnathan of Bolivar, TN; five great-grandchildren: Talon, Amelia, Noah, Julia, and Lucas; three sisters: Gloria Moore and husband Kenneth of Selmer, TN, Deborah Kirk and husband Terry of Lawton, TN, and Judy Hopper and husband James of Pocahontas, TN; two brothers, Reece Vaughn and wife Dorothy of Chewalla, TN and David Vaughn of Pocahontas, TN; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Knight; a sister, Peggy Dixon; and three brothers: Arnie Vaughn, James Vaughn, and Mac Vaughn.
