Sharon Kay Gulley Bubbett Sharon Kay Gulley Bubbett was born on November 24, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Gilbert and Corene Gulley. She moved to Albertville in 1985 to be closer to her parents, who had retired in the area.

A devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and friend, Sharon valued service to others. She served as a regular volunteer with the Albertville High School band for over a decade. And, once her son, Ken, graduated her out of the role of band parent, she then spent the next nearly two decades working with the Albertville Police Department and the Guntersville Police Department as a School Crossing Guard to keep the community’s children safe when they arrived and left from school. In that role, she became a regular fixture in the community, performing a job she loved.

Sharon passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022 at the age of 70. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Bubbett Jackson, her son, Ken Delmore Bubbett, her grandchildren Austin, Joe, Micah and Kensley and her sister, Cecelia Gulley Ellis.
