Jerry Ray Heath, 66, of Athens, passed away on Thursday, November 24th, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Heath was born on May 10th, 1956, to Glen Ray Heath and Betty Jo Browning Heath.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Patricia Heath; Daughters Maria Hope (Christopher) and Andrea Heath; son Jerry Heath Jr. (Ashley); grandchildren Chameron Hope, Christopher Hope, Cayden Hope, Meagan Heath (Ronnie Long), Hunter Heath, Blake Heath, Tyler Heath, Emma Heath, and Emmerson Armstrong; great grandson Waylon Long; mother Betty Jo Heath; sister Susie Gates (Jerry); brothers James Heath, Danny Heath (Christy), and Sandy Heath (Pam); along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and son-in-law Joshua Armstrong.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 27th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Eric Mattox officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Heath served as a Sergeant First Class in the Army. He was known for loving his church and his family
