Graveside service for Mrs. Marjorie Moyers, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 10am on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Brother Don Russell officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
Marjorie was born May 20, 1933, in Petersburg, TN to the late Curtis Welch and Hester Payton Welch. She wed Jesse Moyers on March 18, 1956, and they remained together for 59 years until his death in 2015, adopting their son Tony in 1966.
Together they operated Moyers Greenhouse & Florist on Highland Rim Road for five decades. After her retirement Marjorie took pride in gardening around the house and growing flowers for her own enjoyment. Mrs. Moyers passed away November 24, 2022, at Donalson Care Center.
