Special thanks to Lorie Knight, who has not only been a nurse for the family, but a part of the family for many years.

Charlie served in the United States Army from 1961-1963 and loved to tell stories of his time overseas in Greenland. He was a spiritual influence in the lives of many and a faithful member of Florence First Assembly. He was known for his love for the Lord and Alabama football. He lit up the room anytime he walked in with a smile on his face. He retired from TVA as an ironworker and was a member of Local 477, but he never truly stopped working. He was always busy and known to be the first to lend a hand no matter how big or small the task may be anytime someone needed help. He enjoyed his yard work and growing a garden in the summer. Most of all, he loved his family. He was known to be a family man and positive influence to all who knew him.

Serving as pallbearers will be George Michael, Greg Michael, Kevin Knight, Michael Trousdale, Monty Allen, and Wayne Landers.
