Robert Bruce Marcello, 74, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Tuscumbia, AL to Robert “Bob” and Sybil Sewell Marcello. He had worked at Publix for many years and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 27, 2 p.m. at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Burnout Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Diana Marcello; two sons, Jason Marcello (Stephanie) and Justin Marcello; his daughter, Heather Marcello; grandchildren, Anna Marcello, Layla Marcello and Jason Marcello, Jr.; sister, Karen Rachal (Steve); his brother, Pete Marcello (Patty); nieces, Courtney Bellot and Brittney Day and his sister-in-law, Renee Harris.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Grady and Agnes Sewell.
Pallbearers will be Donald Gober, Richard Townsend, Dale Hester, Gary Williams, Carl Lewey and Tommy Townsend.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 12-2 p.m. at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
