Julian Dwayne Cook Julian Dwayne Cook, 82, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born February 13, 1940, in Marion County, Alabama, to Grady Lee and Lalar Parmer Cook. He began his career at Penn Tire in 1962 before working for JESCO getting Cooper Tire ready to open. He was a maintenance supervisor at Cooper Tire working with JESCO until his retirement. He was a longtime member at Ballardsville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a Mason. He loved his church and his church family, and enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 27, at the Ballardsville Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Panzrino and Chris Nichols officiating. Burial will be in the Ballardsville Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is entrusted with arrangements.

Survivors include one son, Gary Cook (Sue), and one daughter, Teresa Nichols (Scott), all of Ballardsville; five grandchildren, Amanda Christopher, Chad Montgomery, Chris Nichols, Corey Nichols, and Ty Nichols; and ten great-grandchildren, Maddy Christopher, Ashton, Cohen, and Eaden Montgomery; and Aiden, Carson, Olivia, Aubrey, Ruthie, and Anniston Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Ann Donald Cook, on February 18, 2016; his parents; one sister, Louine Hendrix; and one grandson, Monty Nichols.

Pallbearers will be Chris Nichols, Corey Nichols, Ty Nichols, Chad Montgomery, Rickey Boyd, and Riley Farris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Christian and Vance Anthony.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, November 26, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday, November 27, at Ballardsville Baptist Church.
