Howard Eugene Gumm, 75 passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Booneville, MS to Robert Vernon and Dollie Ray Gamble Gumm. He was an auto mechanic for many years and a veteran of the US Army.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 10, 3 p.m. at East Marietta Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Ginn officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexia Tucker (Jason); grandchildren, Chandler Works and Connor Tucker (Dale Anna Akers); great-grandchildren, Zayden Tucker and Aubrey Gumm; three sisters, Peggy Moore (Dude), Christine Reynolds and Joyce Oswalt; one brother, Bobby Gumm (Kathy); his girlfriend, Karen Lynch; sister-in-law, Brandie Gumm; special nephew, Josh Gumm and many nieces and nephews from both sides.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sue Gumm; his parents and brothers and sisters, Bob Gumm, Harold Gumm, Geraldine Trulove, Thelma Gann and Mickey Gumm.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 1-3 p.m. at East Marietta Baptist Church.
