Mr. Rudolph Edward “Rudy” Chambers

.Mr. Rudolph Edward “Rudy” Chambers, of Arab Alabama, passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2022 at Floyd E. Tut Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville, Alabama at the age of 89.
Mr. Chambers was born on October 26, 1933 to Edmond “Ed” Chambers and Gertrude Bell. After serving in the U.S. Army, Mr. Chambers worked at and retired from the Deputy Sherriff’s position at Marshall County Sherriff’s Department. He was married to Georgia Maxine Allred for 68 years. After his retirement, Mr. Chambers would often be found doing woodwork in his shop, or working in excavating with a dump truck or bulldozer. He enjoyed watching old westerns, and catching the Alabama game. He was a member of the Arab Masonic Lodge #663, and a member of Arab Church of Christ.
Mr. Chambers leaves behind memories to be cherished by his wife; Maxine Chambers, sons; Mike Chambers and his fiancé Sherry Madden, and Scott Chambers and his wife Anita, grandchildren; Justin Chambers and his wife Elizabeth, Krista Cameron, and Naomi Baker, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Chambers is preceded in death by his parents; Ed and Gertrude Chambers, brother; John Chambers, and sisters; Sophie Cooper, Ruth Coker, Jean League, Dorothy Cantrell, and Susie Perkins.
A visitation with the family will be Saturday November 19, 2022 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Services will begin at 2:00pm officiated by Brother Ken Tyler. Interment will follow at Arab Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers escorting Mr. Chambers to his final resting place are Robert Scofield, Greg Scofield, Tony Bolding, Rodney Allred, Justin Chambers, and Colton Easterling.
