Donald Ray Buckley passed away November 9, 2022, in Jackson at the age of 68. Donald was born December 31, 1953 in Chester County to the late Cleo Buckley and Nashie Jones Blankenship. He was the operator of Buckley Machine Shop for several years. Donald enjoyed car racing, loved his dog, liked tinkering with things and was a “jack of all trades”.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Buckley; sister, Linda Burkeen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Pam Johnson Buckley; a daughter, Heather Thorpe, three sons, Donnie Buckley, Darrel Buckley, and Adam McBride (Desirae); two brothers, Terry Buckley (Nancy) and Roger Buckley (Lisa); three sisters, Anita Qualls, Judy Brantley, and Penny Barnes. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; K. C., Todd, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Braden, Axel, and Addison, four great grandchildren; Hadley, Margo, Ramona, and Serenity.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, November 12th in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday 9 am to time of service.
