Edeifa Barajas-Cervantes, age 90 of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born May 5, 1932 to Emiliano Barajas and Marcelina Cervantes in Mexico. Mrs. Barajas-Cervantes spent her last few months enjoying all of her family’s company while sharing her sense of humor.
Mrs. Barajas-Cervantes is survived by her children: Lilia Meza, Sijifredo Meza, Simon Meza, Juvenal Meza, Luz Maria Meza, Pedro Meza, Xochitl Ortega and Jose Meza; a hoist if grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and brother Sacramento Barajas. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Refujio Meza.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. before the Mass.
