William Carl Bolton, age 75, of Russellville, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mr. Bolton was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the Cleveland Ohio Police Department. He enjoyed a long career as a SWAT Officer with the Dignitary Protection Team, where he met and protected many influential people. He moved to Alabama in 1999 and enjoyed retirement. He loved being in two phases of his life, one as a working dad, and then as a retired, stay at home dad. He loved to visit and catch up on the local news with his friends enjoying breakfast at Jack’s. He was a great fisherman, always enjoying those fishing times with his sons and he was a big Alabama fan. He also enjoyed time with his favorite doodle pup, Tee Jay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William “Shorty” and Bobbie (Lawler) Bolton, brother, Duke Bolton, and sister, Debbie Bolton Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 29 years, Andrea Bolton; children, Bobbie Burkett (John), Becky Peebles (Jeff), Casey Bolton, William Chase “Willie” Bolton, Kyle Bolton; grandchildren, Skylar Burkett, Darian Burkett, Christian Peebles; sister, Sherion Vall (Bob); and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Sammy Wallace officiating the service. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
