It is with regret we announce the passing of Norma Mae Cary, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN. There are no services planned at this time.
Norma was born February 8, 1938, in Yazoo County, MS to the late John William and I.V. Eldridge Guthrie. She worked as a secretary at Amana for many years and she was a member of the Church of Christ. Norma passed away October 14, 2022, at Donalson Care Center
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Cary Ray; son-in-law, Alex Englehart; grandchildren, Cary (Joseph) Caldwell, Jeremy Whitaker, Lauren (Richard) Easter; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Caldwell, Ladd Caldwell, Layla Caldwell, Payton Whitaker, Aiden Whitaker, and Charlotte Easter; sisters, Bobbie Edmondson, Sue Womack, and Carol Papenfuss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Cary Englehart; and brothers, John Guthrie, Jr., and Fred Guthrie.
