Norma Sue Martin Norma Sue Hall Martin, age 89, peacefully passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Norma was born on August 9, 1933, to the late John Cummins Hall and Vashti Boshers Hall in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and continued her education at Tennessee Tech University. Norma married the love of her life in 1951 and they moved and settled in Clarksville, Tennessee to raise their daughter.

After establishing their lives in Clarksville, Norma and her husband were determined to make the best of what life had to offer. Norma was the owner and manager of Martin Rental Property and got to know many people in her community. Norma loved feeling a sense of community and actively participated in many extracurriculars that would keep her on the go. From being a leader of the Girl Scouts to President of the Clarksville Jaycettes, there’s nothing that Norma could not do. Norma had a competitive spirit and loved to be challenged to a round of golf or bowling, and even shopping for the perfect item was like a sport to her. Above all else, Norma adored her family and always cherished the times they shared together.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Linda Jo (Tim) Warren; her grandson: Timothy F. (Glynnis) Warren, Jr.; great-grandsons: Jasper, Felix, Joe, and Walden; and nephews: Jeff Knox, Tim Knox, and Alden Knox.

In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Martin, and sister, Bessie Dale Knox.

A graveside service for Ms. Norma will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Garden of Devotion at Polk Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are her nephews. The honorary pallbearer is Joe Huff.
