Annette Mitchell Pepper Annette Mitchell Pepper, 91, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at her home in Ardmore, Alabama surrounded by family.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Percy Mitchell and Susan Pauline Magnusson Mitchell.

Ms. Pepper lived in the Ardmore area her whole life and was of the Baptist faith. She was a lifelong member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Ardmore, Alabama where she was passionate about teaching Sunday school and was a member of the Class of Jewel. She also enjoyed time as a volunteer for the Red Cross.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband C.L. (Tiny) Pepper, and sisters Willa Dean Pajak and Ruby Faye Usery.

She is survived by her son Phillip Allen Pepper, daughter Kathy June (Wade) Norton, sister Wanda Gale (Troy) Hogan, grandchildren: Elizabeth (Jamie) Bates, Justin (Krysten) Norton, Jonathan (Brooke) Norton, great grandchildren: active-duty servicemen James Austin (Liza) Bates of the North Pole, Alaska, Andrew Mitchell Bates of Fort Hood, Texas, Elowyn Norton, O’Hara Norton, and Dawson Norton; several nieces and nephews as well as special friends, the Luna girls.

A Graveside Service has been scheduled for Ms. Pepper on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Gatlin Cemetery to begin at 2:00 PM. Bro. Heath Hogan will be officiating the service.
