Martin Wayne Bryan Funeral service for Martin Wayne Bryan, 77, of the Sardis community will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 20th, 2022 at Sardis #2 Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  Bro. Chris Bartlett and Bro. William McClellan will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

 

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bryan family.

 

Wayne passed away Friday, September 16th, 2022, at his residence.  He was born April 21, 1946 to Wesley Marion and Alma Beatrice Gober Bryan.  He was a member of Emeus Baptist Church and member of the Masonic Lodge at West Point.  Wayne loved his wife and two children and grandchildren.  He loved to take his grandsons hunting and watching them play ball.  He also loved his tractor and to garden.  He was a hard working man who never hesitated to help others in need.  He will be missed by many.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Huston Bryan, Marvin ‘Doc’ Bryan, Charlie Bryan, Calvin Bryan, Alvin Bryan, Chamlous Bryan; sisters, Grace Parker, Mary Nell Thompson, Ara Waters.

 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nancy Turner Bryan; son, Timothy Wayne (Debra) Bryan; daughter, Rhonda Delene Bryan; sister, Orlene Bartlett; grandchildren, Wesley (Trish) Bryan, Jake (Haley) Bryan, Chris (Kristin) Bartlett, Jeremy (Andria) Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Madalynn, Malachiah, Judah, Ettagrace Bartlett, Michael, Lacey, Kole, Jacee, Krystin and Ashton Bartlett, Triton, Peyton, Jaxon, Emma, Bella, Myah Bryan; great-great grandson, Bryson Bartlett; and a host of family and friends.

 

Pallbearers will be Tim Bryan, Wesley Bryan, Jeremy Bartlett, Michael Bartlett, Keith Bryan, Jake Bryan, Gary Bartlett, Kenneth, Bryan, Cole Bartlett.
