Wanda DavisWanda Goad Davis, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Life Care Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Wanda was born on August 11, 1940, in Maury County, Tennessee to the late William Goad and Virgie Bell Goad.
Wanda was a true southern belle. She was always polite and cordial to anyone she would talk to. She was loving and had a great sense of humor. In her free time, she loved going down to the river. She loved fishing by the bank and spending time with her husband. She also enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was the best granny her family could ask for and she will be deeply missed.
Wanda has been reunited with her loving husband: Howard Wayne Davis; son: Steven Davis; brother: William Goad, Jr; and parents.
Wanda leaves behind her cherished memories in her children: Mike (Debbie) Davis, Warren (Vivian) Davis, Rusty (Christy) Davis, and Sharon (Jim) Johnson; granddaughter whom she raised as a daughter: Jennie (Jason) White; daughter in law: Beverly Davis; a special cousin: Ann Morton; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cory Davis, Cody Davis, Wesley Johnson, Bo Davis, Austin White, and Zac Green.
A visitation for Ms. Wanda will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A service for Wanda will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Bob Mullenix and Jimmy Rochelle officiating. Wanda will be laid to rest next to her husband at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
