Diane “Pillow” Duncan

Diane “Pillow” Duncan, 72, of Town Creek passed away at Caring House Hospice in Huntsville, AL with her loving husband of 20 years by her side.

 

Diane was born March 22, 1950 in Milan, Tennessee to the late William and Maudie Palmer of Medina Tennessee. She attended Medina High School, and Floral Design School. She later went on to open her own gift shop in Jackson. Later in life she Sold advertising for WBBJ in Jackson as well as WAAY 31 in Huntsville, until her retirement.

Diane was a kind, Loving, free spirited, dog lover. She was an avid gardener and has one of the most breathtaking gardens at her home in Town Creek. She was everyone’s ” go to” person and she was always ready to listen and help in any way she could. Diane will be missed by all and leaves a massive emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

 

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Frank Pillow(Big Sandy, TN)

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Stan Duncan of Town Creek. Two daughters and two granddaughters; Carla Cathey Dodd (Drew) of Boulder, CO, Mallory Diane Dodd of Knoxville, TN, Megan Cathey Davidson(Shawn), and Senonah Bell Davidson of Harvest, AL. Two sisters; Brenda Pillow Sweatt (Walter) of Milton, FL, and Sandra Kay Pillow of Town Creek. Four bonus daughters; Kaydee Duncan Chandler (Justin) of Florence, AL, Courtney Duncan Channel (Matt) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Paige Duncan(Patrick) of Pace, FL, and Morgan Duncan of Muscle Shoals, AL. Bonus grands; Luke, Darby, Duncan, Allie Ruth, Ayden, Beau, Jake, Ty and a another baby girl on the way. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
