Mrs. Dorothy McAdams, age 90, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in Lexington. She was born August 31, 1932 in Lexington to the late William W. and Lola Warren Dunivan. She was a homemaker and loved music, singing, roses and flowers, and anything red. She always enjoyed Christmastime and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jack McAdams; one son, Ricky McAdams; and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her two sons, Jackie McAdams and Sammy McAdams (Penny); four daughters, Brenda Melton (Terry), Patsy Renshaw, Alma Slaughter (Mark), and Donna McAdams; a daughter-in-law, Paula McAdams; one brother, Carl Dunivan; eleven grandchildren, Terri Jean Vaughn, Scott Melton, Kevin McAdams, Eric McAdams, Adam Renshaw, Mandi Seigler, Brad Slaughter, Brandon McAdams, Derek McAdams, Samantha Bridges, and Cody Pospisil; eighteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4 PM, Saturday, September 17, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Henderson County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, 5-9 PM and on Saturday, 12 – 4 PM.
