Larry Lee Bricker of Huntsville, AL, 79, transitioned from his earthly body to his
heavenly home with his Lord and Savior on September 10, 2022.
Larry was born on July 22, 1943 in New London, Ohio. From the age of 10 he
realized he wanted to be an architect. He graduated from the University of
Cincinnati with a degree in architecture in 1967. He began his career in Atlanta but
soon moved to Huntsville to be available as his parents aged. He became a highly
respected architect in the Madison County area for over 50 years, and his clients
quickly became his friends. He has left a legacy of excellence and creativity in the
homes, churches, and office buildings he designed. He often said that he never
worked a day in his life because he loved what he did.
Larry was on the board of Westminster Christian Academy, was involved in
Choose Life of North Alabama, and was also an elder at The Village Church. He
loved his family and his church family dearly.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Mari Lou, as well as his three children, Sarah, Tim
(wife, Sun), and Elaine (husband, Steve); his sisters Nancy, Joyce (husband
Jack), and Beverly (husband John) ; 8 grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; 20
great nieces and nephews; and his faithful dachshund, Chess-Nut.
During his short illness Larry continued to say, “It is well with my soul.” He was
praising and testifying of his faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His
goodness to the end.
Special thanks to Kindred Hospice for their efficient and compassionate care.
There will be a memorial service at The Village Church on September 24 at 2:00
pm. Larry donated his body to Genesis Legacy Whole Body Foundation to help
with medical research.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial gifts to one of the following as you desire:
