Robbie R Shaw Robbie R. Shaw, age 82, of Bear Creek, passed away on Thursday, September 08, 2022, after an extended illness.

Robbie was married to her husband and love of her life, Billy, for 62 years and they deeply enjoyed fishing together and enjoying their family.  She loved working in various church nurseries, and always loved having children around.  She loved to cook for anyone that would visit.  She is now able to walk upright, run, jump, and is now free of pain.  Her family will cherish the many memories of Robbie as wife, mother, and “Granny”.

She is preceded in by her daughter, Cyndi Shultz; parents, J. William & Eula Mae (Nix) Gentry; brothers, James Truman Gentry, Donnie Gentry, and sister, Bobbie Bohn.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Billy Shaw; daughters, Karen (Tim) Robbins, Kathy (Dale) Prince, Kelly (Russell) Tillman; grandchildren, Rachel, Brian, Joshua, Beth, Kenneth, James, Aaron, Tatiyanna, Alex, Sarah, Mark, Malissia, Jacob, James, Candice, Rachel, Phillip, Hunter; a host of great-grandchildren; sisters, Tommie Anderson, Gerrie (Bob) Pipe; and several nieces & nephews.

Her visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville.  The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Jim Poss officiating the service.  Burial will be at Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Brian Robbins, Joshua Robbins, Alex Prince, Mark Prince, Phillip Batchelor, and Hunter Walker.

The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice, especially Ian Butler (chaplain), Emily Stafford (social worker), Danielle McDill (aide), Tammy Taylor (aide), and “Our angel” Brittany Ballard (RN).  You all took such great care of our family.
