Funeral services for Mr. John David “Johnny” Hatch, age 74, are scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, September 9, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lexington Pat Lewis Cemetery. Mr. Hatch passed away on Tuesday in Lexington. He was born June 18, 1948 in Henderson County to the late Curtis Thomas and Mary Ellen Lewis Hatch. He was a Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U. S. Navy, a retired tool & die machinist at Columbus McKinnon, and he enjoyed hunting. He loved his family dearly and they could always count on him for anything.
Survivors include his two sons, John David Hatch II (Robbie) and Jeremy Daniel Hatch; two brothers, Cleo Hatch and Charlie Hatch (Kaye); sister, Linda Allen; nine grandchildren, Hillary Lowrance, Layla Hatch, Hunter Hatch, Jordan Woods, Dylan Gant, Shane Ray, Aleah Gant, Olivia Maness, and Sam Ray; and one great grandson, Brooks Lowrance.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Elaine Hatch and a sister, Lucy Russell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday 4-9 PM and on Friday, 10 AM – 1 PM.
