Elmo Rosson, age 95 passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his home in Boaz, Alabama. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday, September 9, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Solitude Baptist Church. Reverend Andrew Gregg and Lamar Rosson will officiate the service. Pall bearers will be Max Wise, Fred Rains, Ricky Rosson, LJ Rosson, Santos Trevino, Chuck Rhoades. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 2 pm before the service.
He is survived by his wife: Georgia Rosson, who he was married to for 71 years. His daughter Pam Rosson, and his grandson Adam Rosson. His surviving siblings are Jimmy Rosson (Ethel), Arlene Le Corgne (York), and Jan Stacey. He is preceded in death by his son: Tim Rosson.
Mr. Rosson was born June 22, 1927 in Albertville, Alabama. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He moved to Michigan after his service and met the love of his life. He started his family there, but later returned to Alabama in 1968 where he remained until his death.
