Stella Buie, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2022, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a retired cook from the Lawrence County School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.O. Smith, Sr. and Della Mae Hughes Smith; and one daughter, Alicia Joy Buie.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Virgil Buie of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Onda Frazier of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, W.O. “Dubbie” Smith (Cindy) of Summertown, TN; one grandson, Seth Frazier (Carlin) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and two great-grandsons, Beckett Frazier and Barrett Frazier, both of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 07, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 08, 2022, with Charles Fritts and Peyton Buie officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
