Mrs Michelle Suzanne Duke Loyola  Mrs. Michelle Suzanne Loyola of New Market, Alabama, passed away at Crestwood Medical Center on Friday August 26, 2022 at the age of 47.
Mrs. Loyola was born on September 23, 1974 to Jimmy Ray Duke and Carolyn Sue Coppock in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Mrs. Loyola is considered proof that miracles do happen. After becoming sick at the age of 13, and was not expected to live long, she proved the doctors wrong time and again by living for 34 years after her diagnosis. She was handed hardships every day, but never complained about them. Instead, she was grateful for each day she lived and treated each day as a gift. She was optimistic and brought out the best quality in those around her. She was always sure to remind her family and friends just how much she loved them and cared. She kept a welcoming home and loved to feed anyone who came by for a visit. Mrs. Loyola was fortunate enough to marry her soul mate, and the love of her life, Armando Loyola. They shared a home in Austin, Texas, then travelled together to Chile and had many more adventures together in the U.S, and enjoyed every moment in their lives together. They loved being outdoors together in parks, or outdoor cafes with their dogs.
Mrs. Loyola will be remembered fondly as a thoughtful and caring wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Mrs. Loyola is survived by her husband; Armando R. Loyola, father; Jimmy Ray Duke, beloved dog; Zeus, sister; Janella Miller and her husband Chris, niece and nephew; Erica and Ryan Miller, and a host of aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Loyola is preceded in death by her mother; Carolyn Sue Duke.
Escorting Mrs. Loyola to her final resting place are Roger Duke, Andy Duke, Rocky Duke, Derrick Duke, Randy Duke, and Eric Lambert. Honorary pallbearer is James “Bubba” Lenz.
A graveside service is planned for Mrs. Loyola for Monday August 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Simcoe Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Brother Donald King, and Brother Chris Miller.
