Funeral for Ralph Victor French, 94, of Decatur will be Monday, February 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gary Formby officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. French, who died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Decatur Health and Rehab, was born March 13, 1918, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. He was a veteran of World War II and awarded thePurple Heart and Bronze Star. He was employed as a logistics specialist for Redstone Arsenal.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita French; two daughters, Janice (Les) Bowers of Huntsville and Martha (Alan) Fletcher of Kennesaw, Ga.; four grandchildren, Jeff Bowers, Greg Bowers, Jason Fletcher and Hilary Gee; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Compton.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
