Suzanne Marie McDonald, age 66 of Estill Springs, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Vanderbilt-Harton Hospital. She was born in Oakland, California on March 31, 1956, to the late Solon Owens and Shirley Marie (Bodmer) Kaeck. A dedicated homemaker, she cherished the time spent raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, and taking long walks on the beach with her husband collecting seashells to use for creating sand globes and searching for old antique bottles. One of Suzanne’s favorite places was Miranda Gardens that held many of her fond memories. She also loved her cats Puss Puss and Kay Kay and had an affinity for all animals. She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-three years, John Lee McDonald; sons, Jon Bessette, and Jason Bessette; siblings, Dee Dee (John) Passarino, Willie Kaeck, and Augie Kaeck; niece, Sarah Passarino; and nephew, Jonathan Passarino.
