Max Howard Hunter Max Howard Hunter, 65 of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away at his home, Wednesday,  August 3, 2022.

Max was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Elizabeth Hunter, and his sister Susan Hunter.

He is survived by his sister Carol Williams and brother Mark hunter, 9 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews.

Max grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and attended Johnson High School graduating in 1975. He attended MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Max was a co-founding partner in Hunter Homes in Huntsville, Alabama and retired in 2004. After retiring he enjoyed spending time in the outdoors on the family farm in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

During his lifetime he had a love for music and played the drums in numerous bands in and around Huntsville, Alabama. He was a Christian and attended Memorial Parkway Church of Christ growing up.

Max loved his family and spent lots of time playing with his great nieces and nephews, who called him “Unc” Max.  Max’s giving spirit will always be remembered by all those around him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Stateline Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
