Mr. Dennis Anthony Buckmeir of Lacey’s Spring Alabama, passed away on July 27, 2022. Mr. Buckmeir was born on May 27, 1945 to Jack Buckmeir and Charlotte Kaveney. After an honorable discharge from the US Army, he worked as an electrical engineer and worked for Redstone Arsenal for over 40 years. Mr. Buckmeir enjoyed computer gaming, and collecting, buying and selling old cars. He had experience working with horses, and enjoyed spending time outside bush hogging with his tractor.
Mr. Buckmeir leaves behind his sons; Mark A. Buckmeir and Michael A. Buckmeir, grandchildren; Crimson Newby (Charles) and Tequila Bailey (T.J.) and great-grandchildren; Dante, Gabriel, Rhoslyn, Catalina, and Blackley.
Mr. Buckmeir is preceded in death by his parents Jack Buckmeir and Charlotte Kaveney, brother; Jack Buckmeir Jr., and sister; Lynda Haydon.
The family of Mr. Buckmeir have elected for cremation. Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
