James Allen “Jim” Littleford, 80, of Danville, Alabama passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be planned at a later date. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Born on January 28, 1942 to James and Katherine Littleford, Jim was an avid outdoorsman his entire life. He was a pilot in the military then went on to be an Auburn graduate and became a counselor there. Jim loved meeting new people and reminiscing with old friends. He took pride in everything he did and loved his family deeply.
Survivors include his children, Chris Littleford and Carrilea Wilson (Stacy); step-grandchildren, Clay and Cody Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
James is preceded in death by his father, James Littleford; mother, Katherine Littleford; brother, Gordon Littleford; and sister, Maggie Faircloth.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Shoals Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
