Mr. Billy Christopher Newman, of Lacey’s Spring Alabama, passed away on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Mr. Newman was born on March 9, 1974 to Billy Glenn Newman and Ella Mae Perry. He was married to Rhonda Lee Payne-Newman for twenty years. Mr. Newman was a fan of fishing, Alabama football, and working on old cars. He loved working outdoors and tinkering with many projects.
Mr. Newman is survived by his wife; Rhonda Newman, daughters; Angel Newman and Ellie Newman, step-sons; Scotty Payne, J.R. Hendricks (Brooke) and J.P. Hendricks (Savannah) sister; Patsy Stevenson, and grandchildren; Kiley Payne, Mayson Payne, Kinsley Payne, Nevaeh Hendricks, and Brantley Hendricks.
Mr. Newman is preceded in death by his parents; Billy and Ella Mae Newman, and sister; Sandra Higdeon.
A viewing for Mr. Newman will be Monday August 1, 2022 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel. Pallbearers escorting Mr. Newman to his final resting place will be Scotty Payne, J.R. Hendricks, J.P. Hendricks, Tony Parise, Travis Thornberry, Blake Thornberry, David Phillips, and Noah Phillips.
Interment will follow at Hough Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring Alabama.
