Robert Kevin Slaughter Robert “Kevin” Slaughter, age 54, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee.

Kevin was born on November 3, 1967, to the late Robert E. Slaughter and Betty Sue Cummins Slaughter.

Kevin’s fun personality was part of his charm. From karaoke singing to game nights with friends, he would always find a way to bring people together to share good times and laughs. Kevin had a love for drawing, with many drawings left for his daughter and grandchildren to cherish. Not only was he artistically talented, but he was also a great cook. He had a famous jambalaya that everyone couldn’t get enough of.
Kevin will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Ashley C. Slaughter; grandchildren: Naomi C. Esmond and Aubree N. Slaughter; brother: Jeffrey (Lorri Michelle) Slaughter; nephews: Chase Slaughter, Chris Slaughter, and Mark Slaughter; and niece: Amber Slaughter.

In addition to his parents, Kevin is also preceded in death by his brothers: Autry Slaughter and Mark Slaughter.

The family will receive friends and visitors at Williams Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. To follow, Kevin will be laid to rest in the Garden of Matthew at Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring nurse staff at NHC Columbia, for their endless comfort and care.
