Mr. James "Mickey" Edward Marchbanks Sr. Mickey Marchbanks, 74, of Saltillo, Tennessee went home to be with Jesus July 25, 2022. He died peacefully at his home.
Mickey was born August 12, 1947 in Jackson, Tennessee. Mickey loved fishing on the Tennessee River. Mickey loved animals but one particular named BarPassers Best, his prize quarter horse. After many years of traveling the country and hanging iron, Mickey retired from DSE Erectors.
Mickey is preceded in death by his parents, J. C. and Evelyn Marchbanks, Mary Elizabeth White Marchbanks, brother Johnny Marchbanks, son Kevin Perkins, and granddaughter MaryLynn Elizabeth Marchbanks.
He is survived by his wife Dianne Marchbanks of 20 years. His children- James Edward “Eddie” Marchbanks, Jr. (Amy), Rhonda Kay Krasner (Brett), Vickey Michelle Mysinger (Preston), Michael Andrew “Drew” Marchbanks. His grandchildren- Megan Elizabeth Nichols (Nick), James Dallice Mysinger (Heather), Lauren Krasner, Hanna Krasner, Ethan Perkins, Maddie Perkins, JulieAnna Marchbanks, and Evie Marchbanks. His great grandchildren-Molly Nichols, Rich Nichols, Sadie Nichols, and Ada James Mysinger. His stepsons-Scott Parish, Chris Parish (Annette), Andy Parish, and Jeremy Bartholomew. His siblings-Vickey Ballard, Petie Marchbanks (Angi), and Barbara “Hootie” Gammel (Tommy). And numerous nieces and nephews.
The family of Mickey wish to extend our sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of Unity Hospice and Tammy Nanney. He was loved and supported by many friends. A special thanks to Eric and Ann Jackson and Pete and Tammy Nanney.
Memorial services are scheduled for 12 Noon on Saturday, July 30, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington with Bro. J. P. Stovall officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 am on Saturday until time of service.
