Funeral for Densil L. Drane, 79, of Moulton will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Rickey McWhorter and Ray McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Drane, who died Thursday, February 21, 2013, was born December 29, 1933, in Lawrence County to Hattie Lee Drane and Paul Terry. He was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. He was a Boilermaker for Local No. 455 for 39 years. Mr. Drane was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Mikelee and Donnie Joe.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Velma Drane; one daughter, Kathey Norwood (Gary); two granddaughters, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter; half brother, Paul Terry Jr.; and two sisters, Willodean Walker and Juanita Seabrook.
