Rheba Genell King

Rheba Genell King, 92, of Nauvoo died peacefully at her home on July 21, 2022.

Beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, King was a homemaker, seamstress, and lifetime member of the Baptist church. Her family has many fond memories of large family gatherings, her faithful commitment to Jesus, and her overwhelming love of family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10 am on Saturday, July 23, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11 am in the Collins-Burke Chapel.  Shawn Morgan will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband: David Clinton King; parents: Ruby and Eugene Hill; sisters: Betty Dabbs and Shirley Hill; sons: David Michael King and Bobby Lynn King; and grandson: Brandon King.

She is survived by two sons: Eddie King (Kelley) and Joey King (Kelley); her brother: Jimmy Hill; grandchildren: Tracy King (Matthew), Chris King (Delina), Cameron King, Michelle King, Lauren King, Mason King, Hunter Dill, Matthew Dill, and Brad Norris; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews and numerous friends she considered family.

Pallbearers will be: Mark Dabbs, Tim Sherer, Brian Dabbs, Tommy McDonald, Mike Lawson, and John Manasco.

The family would like to thank the kind people of Kindred Hospice, the wonderful caregivers of Visiting Angels, and her good friends Carolyn and Joan for all they have done over the past few months.

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Liberty Grove Cemetery, P.O. Box 3416, Jasper, AL 35502.
