Alice Faye CurtisAlice Faye “Naw Naw” Curtis, 71, of Iuka, MS, died on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at her residence. Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends making them smile and laugh. She enjoyed music and going to see her favorite artists in concert. Alice worked at Kimberly Clark in Corinth, MS. She retired after many years of service. Alice loved tending to her flowers and relaxing while watching Christmas movies. She is survived by her children, Carol Brooks, Kasie Curtis, and Danny Curtis, Jr. (Katie); her grandchildren, Lacie Lomenick (Keagan), Skyler Rinehart, Christina Grant, Livi Nash, DJ Curtis, Hunter Curtis, Bailey Bond, and Dylan Bond; her great-grandchildren, Payden “Beebopper” Lomenick, Finn Lomenick, and Emma Lomenick; her sisters, Jo Ann Lovelace (Eugene) and Wanda King (Jackie); her brothers, William Black (Gwen), Gene Black (Lynda), and Jimmy Black (Annette); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny “Boxcar” Curtis; her parents, Joe and Maudie Lambert Black; her sister, Ora Mae Reno; and her niece, Christy Hickox. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Billy Glover. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Keagan Lomenick, Jason Stokes, Jimmy Grant, Chris Reno, Dakota Whirley, and Scott Rinehart. Donations may be made in Alice’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
