Anna Wooldridge Clark Anna Wooldridge Clark, age 97, of Russellville, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2022, at her daughter’s residence.

Mrs. Anna along with her husband, Leroy, owned and operated the Ann’s Children Clothing Shop.  After retirement, she loved working in her flower beds and sitting watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds.  Anna and Leroy were always humble, gracious, and kind people, always keeping a nice home, and always had extra bedrooms for their friends and family.  Their house was referred to as the “Clark Hilton” for the warm, southern hospitality shown to the many friends who would stay at their house. Their life was about their Lord.  Mrs. Anna had a servant’s heart and was a faithful follower of Christ. The family has so many wonderful memories of their mother and are so grateful and blessed to share so many years with her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leroy Clark; and parents, Ray & Eunice (Clark) Wooldridge.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Patricia Brand (Ed), Linda Harris (Milton); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Owen Wooldridge; sister, Idella Walls; and several nieces & nephews.

The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at College View Church of Christ in Florence.  A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Kenny Moorer officiating the service.  Burial will be Houston, Mississippi at a later date.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Alabama Hospice of the Shoals, and especially Sherry, Norma, Michelle, and Grace for the love and care shown to our mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Alabama Hospice of the Shoals or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
