Billy P. Snead, age 79, of Boaz, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. John Gaines will officiate. The pallbearers will be Jason Baugh, Josh Baugh, Jeffrey Snead, Tyler Jordan, Logan Cornelius, and Hunter Cornelius. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 p.m until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years; Carolyn Snead, children; Michael Snead (Lori), Amy Vice (Brandon), Mary Lee Wood (Jimmy), Tammy Williamson (Daniel), and Karyn Stephenson (Chad), 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Patsy Hammett, nephew; Patrick Hammett (Lisa), and 3 great nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Euleen Snead and a nephew; Greg Hammett.
