Petra Carrillo Perez, age 55, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her residence after a courageous battle with her illness.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. An all-night vigil will begin at 8:15 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with the funeral mass following at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022. Father Vincent Bresowar will officiate the service. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Gardens in Tuscumbia.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Margarito Vargas; five children; and a host of other family and friends.
