Chad MeulenbergChad Meulenberg, age 20 passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Brownsville, TN November 12, 2001 son of Stacy Marie Connor and Loyd Nelson. He grew up in Somerville and Henderson and was a graduate of Tennessee Connections Academy in 2021.
He was a member of The Special Eagles, a Gold Medalist with the Special Olympics and was a participant in the musical “Newsies” at CCHS.

He was engaged to Micaela Snider of Henderson.

He loved playing Rodblox with family and friends and fishing with his uncle Bubba. He loved eating his momma Brandi’s desserts.

He was a very loving, caring, and often misunderstood because of his autism. He loved to hug! He especially loved his Big Momma.

He attended Sanford Hill Baptist church.

He is survived by his parents and fiancée; grandparents, “Big Momma” Lorell Conner of Henderson, Billy Ray Jones, Raymond Rogers Connor, and Ian David William Miles; two brothers, Curtis Paul Meulenberg of Oakland, TN and Chase Campbell Steven Meulenberg (Rebecca) of Henderson; sister, Hannah Lorell Mae Nelson of Henderson; uncle and aunt, Jason and Dina Conner of Henderson; niece, Raelynn Marie Jule Meulenberg and nephew, Greyson Campbell Paul Meulenberg.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Chase Meulenberg, friends, and family officiating. Burial will be at Sunny Side Cemetery in Kenton, TN at 2:00 PM.

The family will receive friends at East Main Chapel 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday.
