Joan Boshell, age 79, of Concord, passed away June 26, 2022. Joan was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Hueytown Baptist Church. Joan enjoyed Word Search, reading her bible, singing and listening to traditional gospel music. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Peggy Crawford and her sisters, Deanna Meyer and Linda Hall. Joan is survived by her husband of 59 years, Billy Ray Boshell; children, William Ray Boshell (Tammy) and Leanna Miller; brothers, Ron Crawford (Linda) and Larry Crawford (Judy); grandson, Brandon Miller (Abby); brother-in-law, Ed Meyer; several nieces and nephews as well as her church family from Hueytown Baptist Church. Services will bel held Thursday, June 30, 2022 at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation from 10-11am, funeral service beginning at 11am with burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Townley. Bro. Chris Burns will officiate.
