THE SHOALS – Junior League of the Shoals has been awarded a $125,000 grant from Lowe’s Hometowns, an initiative that is helping to restore and revitalize spaces that serve as the heartbeats of communities. The ‘100 Hometowns’ grant project is an initiative of the Lowe’s Companies to celebrate Lowe’s centennial; The Shoals is one of the 100 communities in 36 states to receive the award. Junior League of the Shoals will partner with the Children’s Museum to build an outdoor classroom on the property to enhance the children’s museum experience for all the children of The Shoals.
