Mud Volleyball For A Cure Returns To Limestone County In July

ATHENS – Registration is open for the County for a Cure Relay for Life Team’s Mud Volleyball Tournament. The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Swan Creek Park on U.S. 31 in Athens. All proceeds from this tournament will benefit the American Cancer Society. Not only will the winner of the tournament take home the prized “Golden Pig Trophy” they will also take-home prize money.

 

Teams can register online at www.active.com or by calling 256-214-0041. Registration for the tournament will end July 7, 2022. Those teams that are registered by June 26, 2022, will receive a free t-shirt. All teams must have a minimum of eight players with two females on the playing court during play. The cost to play is $20 a player.

 

County for a Cure is excited to welcome Morell Engineering back as the Premier Sponsor of the tournament this year. Local businesses can purchase t-shirt sponsorships to support the fundraiser.
