Mary Evelyn Adcock Mary Evelyn Adcock, a literal angel on this earth, passed away suddenly on June 20, 2022. She was a native Huntsvillian and a 1980 graduate of J. O. Johnson High School. She never met a stranger and you couldn’t go anywhere without running into someone she knew. She was the nicest person you could meet and would do anything to help anyone in need, especially those she loved. She was a Tupperware consultant for many years and loved doing vendor booths. She was also a long time bank teller at North Alabama Bank and will be missed by all of her coworkers and customers. She enjoyed her Friday night dinners at El Mariachi where the workers became like a second family to her.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Robert and Alice Adcock. She leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Amber Nicole Adcock and her precious princess, her much beloved granddaughter, Eleanor Alice Adcock. She also leaves behind a brother, Robert Earl Adcock II; sisters, Belinda Adcock, Rachel Stewart (Patrick), LeAnn Garcia; nieces, Courtney Adcock, Makayla Garcia; nephews Tyler Lott (Brittney), Mateo Garcia, Sean Stewart and Aaron Stewart.

The family will accept visitors on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her beloved granddaughter’s college fund. The fund has been set up at North Alabama Bank under the name Eleanor College Fund Account.
